Boston ESL Camp – No Sightseeing

THREE WEEKS AMERICAN CULTURE AND ENGLISH LEARNING SUMMER CAMP WITH A SERIES OF MINI-CAREER SEMINARS, BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (7/29-8/17/2018)

Understanding the English language is a valuable asset for any child. Avant-Garde Educational Services, LLC, as well as the ASC Language School in Boston, Massachusetts, is proud to offer a fantastic three-week English language summer camp that features a series of mini-career seminars that is not included with our other ESL camp sessions. In these seminars, speakers with various occupations will be brought in to the classes to speak to the students about their careers.

Our goal is to help your child learn the English language by teaching them about American culture. The classes include the study of American music, the education system, and holidays. After completing the course, your child will receive a "TOEFL/IELTS waiver,” which is accepted by local colleges and universities in Boston, including Northeastern University. These camps are a fantastic learning opportunity for students ages 12 and up. Contact us for more information about our international summer camp opportunities in Boston.

At the camp, students will learn English through learning:
  • History of Boston
  • World Renowned Universities in New England and vicinity
  • American Education System
  • American Music History
  • History of American Holidays
     
Camp features include:
  • Three-week (15-day) English and American culture learning in a classroom
  • Sightseeing American historic sites which will enhance students’ understanding of American history
  • Touring highly ranked American universities which will inspire students to work harder and dream bigger
  • When possible, students will be staying with local families which will allow students to truly immerse themselves into American ways of living
  • A true English learning and language immersion experience. Our teachers are professionally trained and education board certified
  • An evaluation of the student’s English aptitude and teacher’s recommendation
  • Mini-Career seminars where students will listen to speakers with various professional backgrounds to inspire students to think ahead about their future

Cost: $150 non-refundable application fee and $6000 USD camp fee.

What is covered: Transportation to and from Boston Logan Airport, daily continental breakfast, dinner, tuition, lodging from 29 July to 16 August, sightseeing tours and admissions, transportation costs and gratuity.

What is NOT covered: Cost to obtain travel visa to USA, airfare, daily lunch, souvenir, lodging on or after 17 August, cost of travel insurance or medical insurance.

Who can apply: Any students aged 12 years old or above.
