BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (7/13 - 7/27/2019)

Avant-Garde Educational Services, LLC partnered with iD Tech presents a two-week Python Coding and AI with Take-Home Cozmo and Sightseeing Summer Learning Camp in Boston, Massachusetts. iD Tech is #1 in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education. The camp will be conducted at a Boston area well-known university such as Harvard, MIT or Bentley University. During the camp, students will practice speaking English, learning teamwork and the basic concept of programming. Students will make new friends and build skills that last long after summer.

Camp Costs Include:

  • Visa application.
  • 5-day fun-filled camp activities at a Boston area well-known university.
  • Certificate of completion at the end of the camp.
  • Tee-shirt.
  • Nightly lodging at a 3 to 4-star hotel.
  • 6-day sightseeing in Boston, New York and Connecticut including tours to famous universities including Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Columbia.
  • 1-day shopping at the outlet.
  • Meals and transportation are included.
  • Sightseeing American historic sites which will enhance students' understanding of American history.
  • Parents are welcome to join for additional costs. Please inquire for details.

Camp Prerequisite and Camp Cost Exclusion:

  • Must pass basic English requirements to participate in group session. (Non-refundable testing fee is $100 USD or 700 RMB.)
  • Must submit a physicians' certification which states that the students meet all US vaccination requirements and that the student is fit to travel. Cost for physical examination, vaccinations and physician’s certification are excluded. 
  • Must submit proof of travel and medical insurance.
  • Must sign a waiver of liability.


$150 (1050 RMB) non-refundable application fee.
$6000 (42000 RMB) camp fee that includes airfare and airport transfer.
Or $4250 (29750 RMB) camp fee that does not include airfare and airport transfer.

What is Covered:

Transportation to and from Boston Logan Airport, daily continental breakfast, dinner, tuition, lodging from 13 July to 27 July, sightseeing tours and admissions, transportation costs, and gratuity.


7/13 - 7/14 Saturday/Sunday: Fly from China to Boston.

7/15: iD Tech Camp starts.

Typical camp daily schedule (Monday to Friday)

  • 8:30 am - 9:00 am: Check-in for day students.
  • 9:00 am: Morning announcements, icebreakers, and team-building activities.
  • 9:30 am: Split into course groups and let the tech innovation begin!
  • Noon: Lunch.
  • 1:00 pm: Return to the labs for more instruction.
  • 2:30 pm: Game time.
  • 3:15 pm: Return to the labs. Let's create!
  • 5:00 pm: Wrap-up projects for the day.
  • 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm: Pick-up time for day campers.

7/19: iD Tech Camp ends.

3-days/2-nights sightseeing in Boston

7/20 Saturday: Shopping at Outlet.

7/21-7/22 Sunday and Monday: University Tours to Harvard and MIT, Museum of Science, Boston Faneuil Hall, and Quincy Market.

2-days/2-nights in Connecticut

  • 7/22 Monday Night: Stay in Connecticut.
  • 7/23 Tuesday: Head to Connecticut to visit American Indian Museum, spend second night in Connecticut.
  • 7/24 Wednesday: Visit Yale University.

2-days/2 nights in New York City

7/24 Wednesday: Times Square, Statue of Liberty, and 911 memorial, spend first night in New York.

7/25 Thursday: Columbia University, spend second night in New York.

7/26 Friday: Return to Boston.

Friday Evening: Fly back to China.

Please note that the maximum students for each camp is 8. Any students sign up after the first 8 will be placed on wait-list until a second camp is open. Please also note that the organizer may adjust the above weekly schedule without notice.
